This 40 hour tested course is designed to provide the new fire investigator with the prerequisite knowledge necessary to properly determine the origin and cause of a fire and to refresh the experienced fire investigator with his/her current knowledge base as it relates to the scientific investigation of a fire scene. This course provides the basis for the IAAI Fire Investigation Technician designation.

Prerequisites are required as supporting knowledge for the class and the examination. Materials within the class and examination will reference all Pre-Requisites.

Registration Deadline: May 1, 2024. FIAA Registration: $575.00 (CAD) (FIAA–Member Registration) $750.00 (CAD) (Non-Member Registration)
INCLUDED IN THIS FEE - The FIAA will provide morning coffee, snacks, and lunch each day and a hospitality night following class on Day 3.

Cancellation: 31 days prior to class start all monies will be refunded. After 30 days prior to class start no refunds.
