Sunday Afternoon - September 19, 2021
The IL-IAAI 50th Anniversary starts off with the Hoyle Golf Outing which will tee off at Quail Meadows Golf Course in
Washington, Illinois, with a 12:00 p.m. registration and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Keep your eyes out for the Outing

Flyer.

Conference sign in also opens at 12:00 p.m. in the pre-function area (Lobby) of the hotel. ($10.00 Slot Card and 2 Mixed Drink Tickets) will be given out upon signing in for the conference.

Sunday night Tailgate Party from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. sponsored by Robinette Demolition and F.E.R.S.T. in the Plaza Room IL-IAAI Hospitality Room, food, beer, non-alcoholic refreshments are provided, mixed drinks are available at Bourbon’s in the Par-A-Dice Hotel and Casino Lobby.

Track A is Law Enforcement oriented and will be limited to the first 50 registered Sworn active “Arson Investigator” attendees. You must have this designation and be vetted to attend Track A.

NO WEAPONS SHALL BE VISIBLE, ALL NON-UNIFORMED OFFICERS MUST HAVE THEIR WEAPONS CONCELAED AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON HOTEL PROPERTY, AND NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE CASINO!!!

Track B is Fire Investigator oriented training and is open to all attendees.

Explosive Recognition and Requirements
Mobile Training Unit - Dept. of Natural Resources, Specialist /Inspector/Investigator Nick Sterling

Track A - Sworn Arson Investigators Peace Officer Training - (Class is Limited to 50 students, on a first come, first serve basis.)

Track A is designed to provide all Sworn Arson Investigators specific training to meet and obtain the minimum annual standards established by the Illinois Governmental Law Enforcement Training Advisory Board requirements for all Sworn Peace Officers in the State of Illinois. Qualifies for continuing education requirements for recertification hours for Lead Homicide Investigator

Afternoon Session - Case Study of the Boston Serial Arsons of the 1980’s & Reverse Arson Stings-Retired BATF & E/CFI Agent Wayne Miller

Fire Analyst Wayne Miller will walk you through the good, the bad, and the ugly evidence!

The training subjects provided meet their respective requirements of NFPA1033, 2017 edition. This conference is providing 24 tested hours of training. Testing will be done on CFItrainer.net, using a PIN number that will be provided at the end of the conference.
