The FIAA will provide all-day coffee, lunch and afternoon snacks each day.
Following the Training on Day 2, from 17:15 – 20:00, join your FIAA/IAAI hosts in the Executive Suite on the 5th Floor for a Meet and Greet. Enjoy visiting with old friends and making some new connections. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
The FIAA is offering the ability to register for only the Investigative Interviewing training with John Tedeschini on day 3, which will have a separate registration link on the FIAA site.
Course Overview:The International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), in partnership with the Fire Investigation Association of Alberta (FIAA), is pleased to present this comprehensive training opportunity designed for both new and experienced fire investigators. This intensive course, delivered by subject matter experts in fire and explosion investigations from Canada and the United States, provides the essential prerequisite knowledge for new investigators to properly determine the origin and cause of a fire. For experienced investigators, it offers a valuable refresher on current best practices and scientific methodologies in fire scene investigation. This 40-hour training program provides the foundational knowledge for the IAAI Fire Investigation Technician certification.
