This 40-Hour course is designed to provide the new fire investigator with the prerequisite knowledge necessary to properly determine the origin and cause of a fire and to refresh the experienced fire investigator with his/her current knowledge base as it relates to the scientific investigation of a fire scene. This course provides the basis for the IAAI Fire Investigation Technician designation and was written in accordance with the NFPA 1033, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigators. This course meets the requirements in Track-A toward IAAI-FIT designation.
          *This IAAI course has been approved for 4.0 CEUs through Columbia Southern University*

      CFITrainer.Net Module: Fire Investigator Scene Safety

A CFITrainer.Net transcript showing completion will be required two weeks before class start date.

REGISTRANTS WHO ARE NOT US CITIZENS MUST CONTACT IAAI FOR ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
International attendees are required to submit Foreign National registration documents.
Completed documents MUST be submitted to the IAAI office no later than September 01, 2017.
Registrations after this date will be accepted, but may be declined at a later date due to clearance ability.

Citizens of the U.S. are required to complete two security documents supplied by IAAI by September 15, 2017; with full Social Security numbers, and emergency contact information, including name, telephone and status of the emergency contact.

Separately, IAAI will need your cell phone.
All attendees will need two forms of ID at all times while on base.
