Tracks A and B will be held on Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday being combined.
Track A - Sworn Arson Investigators Peace Officer Training - (Class is Limited to 50 students on a first come bases)
All Track A Attendees Must Bring Their Duty Holster and Body Armor.
NO WEAPONS ALLOWED DURING TRACK A TRAINING!!!
Track A is designed to provide all Sworn Arson Investigators specific training to meet and obtain the minimum annual standards established by the Illinois Governmental Law Enforcement Training Advisory Board requirements for all Sworn Peace Officers in the State of Illinois.
This training will include both classroom and practical training applications in the Use of Force with scenario-based training, Illinois Criminal Statues - Legal Updates, Responding to Mental Health issues, Constitutional Law, Proper Use of Authority, and Procedural Law related to Search and Seizure.
All Arson Investigators attending the practical portions of the training are requested NOT TO BRING or WEAR ANY FIREARM at the PTI Training Facility during the practical portion of the class. This is a PTI (Police Training Institute) Safety Requirement to ensure the safety of all students and instructors while on site and during the Use of Force Scenario portion of the class.
Track B is Fire Investigator oriented and open to all.
